Gurugram: Judge's wife dead, son critical after security guard shoots them
Wife of additional sessions judge, who was shot at by his gunman yesterday, has succumbed to her injuries. The wife and teenage son of an Additional District Judge were allegedly shot at by the judge's personal security guard on Saturday. The two were shot at in a crowded market area in sector-49 of Gurgaon and were left critically injured. Police said the incident occurred around 3.30 pm when Additional Sessions Judge Krishan Kant's wife Ritu and son Dhruv (18) had gone for shopping in the Arcadia market. They were accompanied by the judge's guard, Mahipal.
DCP-East Sulochna Gajraj was quoted as saying that some locals informed the police about gunshots being fired outside the Arcadia market. When a police team reached the spot, they found Ritu and Dhruv lying in a pool of blood. Both of them were rushed to the hospital in the city soon after the incident where they are in a "critical"
