Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present her maiden Union Budget today for the financial year ending March 2020. The Indian economy is going through a tough period with growth at a five-year low at 6.8 per cent, and low consumption. A mini-stimulus to take the economy out of it alongside giving some tax relief to common man will be on the cards, Sitharaman does a tightrope walk balancing the needs of the economy and fiscal constraints in her Budget speech. On February 1, then Finance Minister Piyush Goyal had presented the Interim Budget for 2019-20 fiscal.
