First Monday of Sawan: Offer prayers to Jyotirlingas RIGHT HERE

The Shravan month is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is considered quite auspicious. People queue up in front of temples since 5 in the morning. They fast today and consider it quite pure to visit temple on this day. All the Mondays of this month are very fruitful and hence people fast on all Mondays of this month.
Few also go for 'Solah Somvar' that is to fast for 16 Mondays
