Petrol and diesel prices were both increased by 80 paise per litre, bringing the total increase in the last two weeks to 9.20 per litre. According to a price notification from state fuel merchants, petrol in Delhi will now cost 104.61 per litre, up from 103.81 before, while diesel rates will rise from 95.07 to 95.87 per litre. Rates have been raised across the country, and they differ from state to state based on the amount of municipal taxation. Not just the common man, even celebrities are now calling for relief in the fuel rates.
