UP By-elections: SP May Allot 3 Seats to Congress, Says Akhilesh Yadav | Breaking News
In the upcoming Uttar Pradesh by-elections, an agreement has reportedly been reached between the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Congress. Initially, Congress had demanded five seats, while SP was only willing to offer two. However, under growing pressure from Congress, SP has now agreed to allot three seats. As part of the deal, SP is ready to give Congress the Phulpur seat, along with the previously agreed Ghaziabad and Khair seats. Congress had also expressed interest in the Manjhanpur and Phulpur seats. This compromise marks a significant step in strengthening the alliance between the two parties, showcasing a cooperative strategy as they prepare to contest key constituencies in the upcoming by-elections.
