Dhaka: 45 killed as fire breaks out in apartment used as chemical warehouse
At least 45 people were killed and many others were injured in a devastating fire in Bangladesh's capital Dakha. It is reported that the fire broke out in an apartment building also used as a chemical warehouse in an old part of the Bangladeshi capital. It is suspected that the blaze at Chawkbazar in the old part of Dhaka might have originated from a gas cylinder before quickly spreading through the building where highly flammable chemicals were stored.
