Decision on new government of Karnataka likely to come soon after 'Rahu Kaal' ends
BJP CM candidate VS Yeddyurappa and other party met Karnataka Governor Vajubhai Vala to stake claim to form the government. BJP emerged as the single largest party but fell short of majority in the election results announces on Tuesday. The Congress said it had offered its backing to the Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S) to form a government in Karnataka following a hung Assembly. Both parties have reportedly agreed on Kumaraswamy as next chief minister. The JDS leader arrived at his father Deve Gowda's residence this morning.
