Bollywood celebrities exercise franchise, appeal to vote in large numbers

Bollywood celebrities like Aamir Khan, Lara Dutta, Preity Zinta, Riteish Deshmukh, Madhuri Dixit, Sachin Tendulkar etc have exercised franchise and appealed to vote in large numbers. According to the Election Commission, several constituencies in the two states have witnessed voting turnout in double digits.

Polling began in the two Bharatiya Janata Party-ruled states at 7 a.m. on Monday.
