Bihar: 40-year-old scheduled caste woman beaten to death in Rohtas
In a brutal incident that has come to light in Bihar’s Rohtas, a middle aged woman belonging to scheduled class died after she was beaten cruelly by the residents of the area, over a minor feud between children.
The 40-year-old woman was taken to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
As per locals, on Friday a youth named Ram Avatar along with his four friends thrashed the scheduled caste woman using sticks, till she was badly injured .
The family members of the woman got her admitted into hospital where after two days she passed away.
Police have arrested three people in this matter, while are searching for another absconding accused.
The squabble that started with a small dispute of children, escalated to take a brutal form and the woman died near Ambedkar Chowk in Dehri region.
An FIR has been registered and further action has been initiated.
Dehri SDPO Anwar Javed said that the two families had an old feud, which had resulted in late-night bickering between the two houses.
