70th Republic Day: Parade by Indian Naval contingents

Republic day parade by Naval contingents headed by commander Ambika Sudhakarn. Crowd gather for the Republic Day parade at Rajpath in Delhi. President of South Africa Cyril Ramaphosa is the chief guest at the parade today. On the occasion of Republic Day, an unprecedented security cover has been put in place in and around national capital New Delhi. Security has been beefed up on the eight-km-long Republic Day parade route from Rajpath to the Red Fort in the heart of Delhi with commandos units, mobile hit teams, anti-aircraft guns and sharpshooters being deployed at strategic locations to keep a close watch on suspicious people.
