In Punjab, the Akali Dal has left the fold of the ruling NDA over the farm bills issue. The departure of the Badals from the NDA doesn't seem to bother the BJP much. However, it should ring alarm bells for Chirag Paswan, the national president of the LJP. Paswan seesm to be locking horn with the JDU in Bihar and preparing to put up his candidates against Nitish Kumar's party.
