Mumbai is currently the worst hit in India in terms of Covid-19 casualties and cases, sparking huge concern among the masses. With the unabated spike in numbers, the financial capital of India has now been termed as the “Corona Capital” of the country.
The state government is working hard to enhance healthcare facilities and one of its major arrangements is a makeshift 1,008-bed mega-hospital which is coming up at a fast pace in the commercial hub of Bandra-Kurla Complex. The hospital is being constructed by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) at a sprawling ground in the BKC.
