Corona pandemic has affected Ganesh chaturthi celebrations as well. This time of the year which is very celebratory for the people of Maharashtra and especially Mumbai is looking pretty silent this year. So amidst the pandemic, we reached Mumbai’s oldest Ganesh pandal in South Mumbai’s Keshavji Naik Chawl. This is the same place where Lokmanya Tilak started the Ganpati festival in 1893. Every year, many people visit this historic chawl to see the Ganesha, but this year the vibrancy in the celebrations has gone down.
