BJP leader and ex-chief minister of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis has become more powerful than before. After the reshuffling of BJP’s Executive Committee in Maharashtra unit several party rivals of Fadnavis, be it Pankaja Munde, Eknath Khadse, or Vinod Tawde have become cornered. Prakash Mehta who was a minister in the Devendra Fadnavis-led state government was first denied ticket for the legislative assembly and later for the legislative council. He has also been removed from the executive committee. In this way, Fadnavis has slowly side-lined his detractors. Why did Fadnavis do this and what will happen to the political careers of these leaders? ABP correspondent Jitendra Dixit explains.
