Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Monday questioned Maharashtra governor Bhagat Singh koshyari about who is stopping him from nominating Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray as a Member of the Legislative Council through Governor's quota as requested by the state cabinet? Raut said that Koshiyari’s connection with the BJP is not unknown but this is not the time for politics. Thackeray is not a member of the legislative assembly or the legislative council. He had taken oath as the Chief Minister last year on 28 November and will complete six months of his tenure on May 28. According to the constitution, if any Chief minister is not the member of the legislative assembly or legislative council then within six months of taking the oath, they should be selected to become the member or else should resign from the position. Raut expects that after May 27 Thackeray remains as the chief minister. Find out what is cooking in Maharashtra during the lockdown? Will Uddhav Thackeray be able to save his seat?
