Taking a major step towards the export of weapons, India has given a green signal to export the indigenous Akash missile system. The cabinet under the chairmanship of PM Narendra Modi gave permission to export the Akash missile which hit the sky from the ground. This missile is capable of destroying enemy fighter jets, helicopters, drones and cruise missiles in the sky about 25 kilometers away. The Akash missile is designed by DRDO in collaboration with Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) and Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL). And what is special about this missile, Neeraj Rajput is explaining.
