JNU students detained by Police during march to Rashtrapati Bhawan | Panchnama

Several students of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) were on Thursday detained by the Delhi Police during a march to the Rashtrapati Bhawan demanding removal of JNU Vice Chancellor following Jan 5 violence in the campus. JNUSU tweeted that the police also resorted to lathicharge and manhandled the students. 

Violence erupted at the JNU campus on January 5, as several masked individuals thrashed students and teachers inside the campus with wooden and metal rods.
