In a bizarre turn of events, a female passengers travelling on a Southwest Airlines flight to Chicago allegedly striped naked and pooped on her seat. The plane with 418 passengers from Philadelphia was grounded at Midway Airport and sent for deep cleaning.
"Our teams are reaching out to those onboard to apologize for the situation and any delay to their travel planes,” New York Post quoted Southwest Airlines.
It added that nothing is more important to Southwest than the safety of our customers and employees. :We appreciate the professionalism of our flight crew," the statement added.
Recently, a Southwest flight in Houston was evacuated due to an engine fire.
The airline announced this month it will reduce its capacity later this year as it expects revenue to dip. The airline is also just one month away from shifting its long-held policies and charging passengers for checked baggage.
