Venomous Cobra Found Coiled Inside Thrissur Man's Helmet. WATCH
When the man retuned to pick the helmet and leave for his home in the evening, he noticed something entering his helmet.
Snakes can be termed as one of the most feared and hated predators. Some of them, like the King Cobra’s are so venomous that a single bite is enough to kill a few people. A video of a man narrowly escaping a venomous snake bite has gone viral on the internet. Sojan from Thrissur in Kerala had placed his helmet on the platform beside his parked scooter at his workplace. When he retuned to pick the helmet and leave for his home in the evening, he noticed something entering his helmet.
He instantly realised it was a snake and contacted the local forest department for assistance. In a short while, a snake volunteer named Lijo arrived at the location to pull out the snake from the helmet. Upon close inspection, the snake catcher revealed the reptile was a highly venomous cobra. Though small in size, it posed a great threat to the man had he not located the reptile on time.
In the video, one can see the snake catcher carefully searching for the snake by placing the helmet on the ground. It wasn't traceable for a long time. But, after the inner lining of the helmet was examined, the cobra was found hiding in a corner.
The bite of a small cobra is even more dangerous than a larger one said Lijo.
