This Bill For Two Samosas, Tea, Water Bottle At Mumbai Airport Will Leave You Stunned

Despite efforts being made by the governmental of controlling inflation in the country, prices of essential commodities at places like airports are higher than the market. Twitter user and journalist Farah Khan recently shared the bill for two samosas, chai and a water bottle she bought at Mumbai airport for Rs 490.

A picture of the samosas and the bill shared by the journalist on the micro-blogging site Twitter with the caption, "Two samosas, one chai and one water bottle for 490 Rs at Mumbai airport!! Kafi ache din aa gae hain," went viral.

The post garnered 1.9M views, 12.6k likes and several comments.

"Are madam, one idli and one Vada are 100rs each in Hyderabad airport।,.one orange juice that too rotten is for 150 rs . Yeh kaise din hai ?!" wrote a third.

"A few days ago I was coming to Kolkata from Bangalore airport, at Bangalore airport I asked the rate of samosas, he told the price of two pieces was ₹250.  After that did not ask anything else, I immediately left from there," wrote a fourth.
