'Scam' In Telangana Highway? Man Releases Video 'Exposing Fake Safety Stickers', Cautions Commuters

In the footage, the man questions the legitimacy of the group's activities to issue challan, challenging them on their authority and the reasons behind their demand for payments.

A man traveling on a highway in Telangana has brought attention to a potential scam involving fake road safety stickers, which has since gone viral on social media. In the video, the man confronts a group of individuals who were distributing counterfeit safety stickers to commuters in exchange for money.

The video was shared from X account "Ghar Ke Kalesh" with caption "New Highway Scam Kinda Kalesh".

Further, the viral footage showed the man questioning the legitimacy of the group's activities, challenging them on their authority and the reasons behind their demand for payments. His confrontation not only halted the alleged scam at the scene but also raised public awareness about such fraudulent schemes on social media. 

The challan read "Road Safety Camp - National Highway Reflector Service". Alleging that the payment was valid for two months, the people demanded Rs 300. They also claimed that the "road safety your safety" campaign was launched under the provisions of motor vehicle rules.

As the video gained traction, discussions surrounding highway safety and the need to stay vigilant against scams have grown. Netizens have applauded the man for exposing the incident and prompting others to be cautious while traveling.

The incident took place on October 16 and the man’s quick thinking and bold actions have earned him widespread praise on social media, with many calling him a hero.

A X user said, "NEW type of scam in the market..🚨😶.......All these scammers keep finding  one way or the other to scam people..🤡👎......"

Another user applaued the man's efforts stating "Brave man 🔥🔥🔥"

"Why he let these scammers to go free. He must call police and should handover the," said another X user.
