'Rs 100 For A Selfie': Russian Tourist's Unique Method To Avoid Selfie Requests From Indians

A video showing the Russian woman capturing herself charging Rs 100 from every Indian who approached her to pose for a selfie has gone viral on social media. The woman stated that she came out with solutions to avoid the annoyance of being frequently approached by several locals to pose for selfies.

As the viral video opens up, she says, "Ma'am please, one photo? One photo? We are tired of these and I have one solution." She is also seen holding up a piece of paper that reads "1 selfie Rs 100".

"And now we are all happy. Indians have their photo with a foreigner, and foreigners are not tired because they’re paid for selfie. How’s this solution?" she wrote in the caption while posting the video on Instagram.

In the video, it could also be seen that she stands on the beach holding a sign as several Indian men gather around her, taking pictures. They pose beside her while she continues holding the sign. Many of the men even offered to pay for a selfie, and she proudly displays her earnings to the camera.

Netizens React To Viral Video

As soon as the video went viral, the netizens came up with their mixed opinions and words highlighting the discovery of a new business model. One of the netizens said, "India is the place for foreigners to make money."

"Oh gurl!! You can make money for just existing in India, restaurants pay money just for the foreigners to sit and eat in their restaurants, that too in dollars, "another said.

The next said, "You found a real business."

Another netizens also said, "Constantly embarrassed of the men in my country."

The next also stated, "She knows Indians more than Indians."
