Mumbai Woman's Smart Pencil Goes Missing In Puducherry, Gets It Back With A Touch Of Kindness

Akansha shared that she was enjoying at a beach in Auroville with her friend and a hostel guest when she lost her expensive gadget.

There might have been occasions when you have forgotten your keys, wallet or even mobile phone while having dinner at a restaurant, travelling in a public transport or when outdoors. The chance of getting the lost item back is bleak. However, there are times when people go out of the way to help the person find the lost belonging. A Mumbai woman, Akansha Dugad, shared her experience of how she lost her Apple Pencil during a vacation in Auroville, Puducherry, and got the expensive gadget back.

Taking to the microblogging site X, formerly Twitter, Akansha shared that she was enjoying at a beach in Auroville with her friend and a hostel guest when she lost the gadget. Initially she was upset, but kept the thought aside and went on to enjoy the trip.

After spending her holiday and returning back to Mumbai, Akansha received a package from the stranger she had met at the hostel, Rakshit. On opening the packet, to her surprise there was not only a box of Apsara Pencils but also her lost Apple Pencil.

There was also a heartfelt note that read, "There will never be enough kindness in this world. I will do my part; you make sure to do yours. Because, in the end, only kindness matters."

Akansha shared the screenshots and snap of the parcel sent by Rakshit, and wrote, "THIS IS UNREAL."

Since being shared, the post has gone viral with over 2 lakh views.

"This is just so sweet, everyone can just feel your excitement," commented one user on the post.

"Good things can travel light-years to come back to you," wrote another user.

"If I lose my apple pencil, I would not be able to sleep for days," commented a third.
