Kerala Bride Plays Chenda At Wedding, Stuns Netizens With Her Performance

A video is going viral on the internet in which a woman is seen playing chenda melam at her wedding ceremony in Kerala. Before moving on to the stage for the rituals, the bride along with Shinkari Melam artists played the drums.
Chenda is a cylindrical percussion instrument used as an accompaniment during various dances and rituals in Kerala. It is also played at weddings.
In the video shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter by @LHBCoach, a woman can be seen playing Chenda with a jubilant group of performers which took place at the Guruvayur Temple in Kerala. The bride was also joined by her father and the groom while playing the instrument.
