Is 7 LPA Government Job Better Than 50 LPA Private One? Woman’s Tweet Divides Internet

Ayushi, whose profile says she is a digital marketer, posed the question to the people on the microblogging site Twitter and asked, "Which is preferable, a 7 LPA government job or a 50 LPA private job?".

Government job is the preferred choice of most of the Indians as it is perceived to be more stable and less prone to layoffs compared to private jobs. However, it is always difficult to chose between the both as the latter is a sector that is highly paying. In a viral tweet, a user named Ayushi Mishra has once again ignited this debate over which is the better choice.

Ayushi, whose profile says she is a digital marketer, posed the question to the people on the microblogging site Twitter and asked, "Which is preferable, a 7 LPA government job or a 50 LPA private job?".

The tweet was posted a day ago. Since being posted, it has amassed more than 6 lakh views. The post has also gathered close to 3,000 likes and attracted a lot of comments.

"If u want to retire at 40-45age go for PVT . If want to retire with your grandchildren go for 7 PA, commented one user on the post.

"7 LPA govt. the 50 LPA may not remain for even 6 months who knows…. ? Its a personal choice but yes private does not have job security," wrote another user.

"This is way too big a gap to leave the 50 lpa job. One mst go for it," wrote a third.
