Gujarat Woman Lands In Trouble After Video Of Her Performing Yoga On Road Goes Viral

As the woman dressed in red sports attire performs the yoga pose, traffic plying on the road comes to a halt.

In order to gain views and likes on their social media handles, content creators are always on a lookout for unique and exciting places to shoot their reels. However, in their attempt to create eye-catching content, they sometimes become a source of nuisance and inconvenience for the public. One such video of a woman performing yoga in the middle of a busy road in Gujarat landed her in trouble. After the clip went viral on social media, the Gujarat police took note of it and arrested the woman for violating traffic rules by performing yoga in the middle of the road. She was later made to apologise for her behaviour by the police.

In the video shared by Gujarat police, the woman identified as Dina Parmar can be seen dressed in red sports attire doing some yoga poses in the middle of the road. As she performs the poses, traffic plying on the road comes to a halt. Later in the video, Parmar is seen apologising for her actions and requests everyone to follow traffic rules. She was release after paying a fine.

Since being shared, the video has garnered close to 52,000 views, and comments hailing the Gujarat police for its action.

"Well done Gujarat police," commented one user on the post.

"First Garba on road and then yoga on road. These kind of people make Road unsafe to use. Surprised to see that people do these kind of stunts for few likes on social media and getting fame," wrote another user.

While a third differed and wrote, "This doesn’t look like middle of the road. Traffic is easily going around it. How about having some rules for many many more things ‘happening’ on road?."
