Fitness Influencer's 'Tala Bhuna' Remark About Chole Bhature Sparks Debate Online
"Bhai, thoda lite le yaar. I respect you for your views, but you don't need to necessarily criticize other ways of living to promote yours," commented one user on Barjatya's post.
Chole bhature, a North Indian dish enjoys a special place in the hearts of food lovers, not only in India but across the world. And if someone makes a remark about its tempting taste and the rich cultural heritage is definitely going to spark a debate. A similar thing happened recently when fitness influencer Chirag Barjatya took to social media to share his dislike for chole bhature.
Taking to X, formerly twitter, Barjatya wrote, "I will never understand how can people eat this tala bhuna highly salted no protein meal first thing in the morning."
Barjatya shared his opinion about the dish while reacting to a post shared by another X user named Anu. The user had tweeted a picture of chole bhature and wrote, "Tell me a better breakfast than this."

However, Barjatya's tweet about the dish did not sit well with X users as several of them were critical of the fitness influencer's opinion.
"Bhai, thoda lite le yaar. I respect you for your views, but you don't need to necessarily criticize other ways of living to promote yours," commented one user on Barjatya's post.
While another questiond, "Chickpeas no protein kaise hua? I get your point of tala bhuna highly salted maida etc."
"I think we are taking health issue too far and at extremes. No one eats it everyday. If one eats very very ocassionally let’s not be judgmental. May be once is six months," commented a third.
While a fourth agreed with Barjatya and wrote, "Agree ..gut health for the entire day goes for toss same with dal pakwaan and misal pav never understand why and how."
