Mothers, whether they are of humans or animals are extremely protective about their babies and can go to any extent to save them from danger. A video that has gone viral on the internet aptly confirms this as one can see an elephant save her baby in a crocodile-infested pond. The clip taken from inside a car opens to show the elephant and its calf standing in a muddle waterbody and drinking water from it. Suddenly a crocodile appears from beneath the muddy water close to the calf. Instantly, the gentle giant lunges on the crocodile and forcefully it to run away.
"The extent to which elephants can go in protecting their calves is mind-boggling. Here is a small incident. The Crocodile had to surrender," read the caption of the post shared by Nanda.
