Video Of Overcrowded Bengaluru Metro Goes Viral, Netizens Compare It With Mumbai Local

Bengaluru, the silicon valley of India is known for its traffic woes. But this time it is not the road traffic but city's metro system that takes centre stage. Visuals of crowded Purple line of the Bengaluru Metro, that has recently been operational has gone viral on the social media. In the clip, women can be seen force themselves through the crowd into the coach. 

The video has garnered immense attention since being shared on social media. It has also initiated comparison with other cities.

"Bangalore guys used to laugh at Mumbai locals until they got their own public transport," reads the caption of the post shared on X, formerly Twitter, by a user @GabbbarSingh.

In the video, women can be seen squeezing themselves through the crowd into the coach of the metro train. Some of them unable to move further inside the train, stand at the door holding the handle, while others wait at the platform knowing they can not make it.

Since being shared, the video has amassed over 7 lakh views, 10k likes and tons of comments.
