New Delhi: As most parts of the country are dealing with scorching heat, Bengaluru has welcomed rains with a warning of very heavy and extremely heavy rainfall. The India Meteorological Department issued an ‘orange’ alert for the city.

According to the IMD forecast, there is a thunderstorm warning at isolated places over all districts of Karnataka from May 16 to 18.
