Delhi Woman Holds Baby On Roof's Edge To Record Video, Faces Backlash On Social Media
A woman faced backlash for posting an Instagram video where she held her toddler on a rooftop edge with one hand while recording.

A woman faced severe backlash online after she posted a video on Instagram where she is seen holding her toddler on the edge of rooftop with one hand while recording with the other.
The viedo was posted by Varsha Yaduvanshi Tanwar, who captioned it, "Good morning, everyone! I am a brave boy exploring the world and taking vitamin D with my beloved mom."
The woman pans the camera down suggesting a significant height between the rooftop and the road below while she wraps her one arm around the toddler sitting on the edge.
The video quickly gained traction on social media with many users flagging safety concerns and calling her out for putting the child in a risky situation.

"Please don't make such videos. It looks so dangerous, said one social media user. "As a mother, I know you aren't scared because you trust yourself. A mother would never intentionally put her child in harm’s way. But please be careful, babies can be unpredictable and might do something unexpected," the user added.
"Never do this kind of stupidity," wrote another.
Following the backlash, the woman posted another video defending herself. "Kindly listen to this video properly and understand the facts. And if you are not ready to understand, I don’t care," she wrote in the caption of the video.
Dismissing the criticism, she said she knows how to raise her child and doesn't care about negative comments.
"Hi guys, to those who genuinely showed concern for my video—yes, it appears as if I was holding the baby with one hand, but I actually made the video while supporting him with both hands. I will share the clip showing how I recorded it," she said.
The woman slammed people who trolled her for her looks and not being a careful mother. She apologised to the people who were "genuinely concerned" by her act.
However, many users remained unconvinced with her explanation and urged parents to avoid such risky behaviours.
