Aditya-L1’s journey towards the Sun will be a complex one, and will involve multiple phases. The spacecraft will reach its final destination about 125 days from launch. It will remain operational for five years and will study the Sun's corona, the mechanisms of solar activities, the problem of coronal heating, the dynamics of coronal mass ejections, and how solar activities affect space weather, among other objectives.
