Regarding his role Piyush said in statement, ‘’ My character Abul Fazl has different shades..He's a Warrior, he's Poet,he's the one who wrote "Ayene Akhbari", Abul Fazl was very close to Akbar and he was one of the 9 jewels of that time

Sonarika Bhadoria, who is playing the role of Anarkali, said, ‘’The show will be a rendition of the immortal saga of Prince Salim and courtesan Anarkali. It will convey the message of love which takes precedence over rules and societal norms. There is a lot of mystique when it comes to depicting a strong character like Anarkali. I’ve been taking Kathak lessons to get the nuances of the character.”

Small screen’s heartthrob Shaheer Sheikh is playing the role of Prince Salim in the show. ‘’Salim is a dream role for any actor. I think the most difficult part will be to portray the layers and the pain of the character. He is an extremely complex person so itwont be that simple’ however - that’s what I like about this role,’’ the ‘Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi’ actor said in a statement.
