TSPSC Paper Leak: Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan Seeks Status Report

In the letter, Raj Bhavan requested a current status report on the suspected leak, including the status of the Special Investigation Team's investigation.

Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan on Thursday sought the latest development on the alleged Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) question paper leak case. The Raj Bhavan wrote to the Chief Secretary, the TSPSC, and the Director General of Police (DGP) requesting the latest status report within 48 hours.

In the letter, Raj Bhavan requested a current status report on the suspected leak, including the status of the probe by the Special Investigation Team. In addition to the current status of the case, the TSPSC was asked to provide information on its regular and outsourced employees who took exams with or without permission from the Commission, as well as information about their exam results, preparatory leave, and other factors.

On Wednesday, Congress leaders led by TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy urged the governor to exercise her special powers to take action in the case. Revanth Reddy had asked her to dissolve the TSPSC until the inquiry into the case is completed.

KTR Sends Legal Notice To Congress, BJP Leaders

On Thursday, Telangana IT Minister KT Rama Rao sent legal notices to TPCC president Revanth Reddy and Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay for trying to ‘defame’ him in the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC) paper leak case.

KTR launched a scathing attack on Revanth and Sanjay for making baseless and false allegations about the affairs of the Telangana State Public Service Commission.

"Dragging the Telangana government and me into this matter without understanding the autonomous nature of the constitutionally constituted Public Service Commission proves their ignorance," KTR said.

Sending them legal notices for "conspiring to discredit the government," KTR said Revanth and Sanjay have "made a fool of themselves with their mindless statements."
