Delhi, Noida Schools Get Another Bomb Threat; Campuses Evacuated
Delhi and Noida schools received fresh bomb threats on Friday morning. The campuses were evacuated and closed for a thorough search.

Delhi Schools Bomb Threat: At least two schools and one college in Delhi and Noida received a fresh bomb threat on Friday morning. As part of the standard operating procedure, the campuses of Ahlcon International School in Mayur Vihar-Phase 1 and Shiv Nadar School in Noida were evacuated and shut. St Stephens at North Campus, Delhi, was also locked. The police are conducting a thorough search.
The schools immediately sent messages to the parents of the students to share the threat to the safety of students on campus. "We are closing the campus down for the day in order to conduct a complete sweep to ensure the safety of all," a message from one of the schools read.

The schools advised parents to keep their children at home. Those who had already boarded buses were sent back home.
The Delhi Police said Ahlcon International School in Mayur Vihar Phase 1 informed SHO-Pandav Nagar over the phone that an email was sent to the to the principal informing them of the bomb at the school.
"The bomb disposal squad of the East district along with the SHO of Pandav Nagar rushed to the school. The school premises were checked. Nothing abnormal was found," an officer said.

Student Detained For Bomb Threat To Noida Schools
On Thursday, a 15-year-old student of Class 9 was detained for allegedly sending hoax bomb threat emails to four schools in Noida on Wednesday. He used a virtual private network (VPN) to mask his internet protocol (IP) address and location in an attempt to avoid going to school. The student was detained and taken before the Juvenile Court.
