Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao visited Yashoda Hospital in Hyderabad on Friday for a health checkup after experiencing radiating discomfort in his left arm.

According to Chief of Medical Services, Dr Vishu Reddy, the chief minister had been feeling lethargic for the last few days and was experiencing pain in his left arm since this morning. He was also feeling weak over the last couple of days. Due to the health issues, we advised CM KCR to visit the hospital and Dr MV Rao and Chief Cardiologist Pramod Kumar are taking care of him, Reddy said.

We do health check-ups to CM KCR every year in the month of February. CM has stated that he has been weak for the last two days and complained of slight pain in the left arm and the left leg: Dr M.V. Rao, CM's personal Physician.

However, KCR  was discharged from the hospital on Friday afternoon after undergoing angiography and other diagnostic tests. His attending doctors, including general physician Dr MV Rao and cardiologist Dr Pramod Kumar, have recommended rest for one week.

Due to his ailing health, the Chief Minister also cancelled his visit to the Yadadri temple. KCR was supposed to participate in Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple ceremonies there and had also scheduled a meeting later in the day to go through the plans for reopening the temple to worshipers, following renovations.

Meanwhile, Telangana BJP state president Bandi Sanjay expressed concern over Chief Minister KCR's visit to the hospotal for illness and undergoing medical tests. 

In a tweet, Sanjay prayed to Goddess Durga to bless him with an early recovery and a healthy life.
