MLAs' Poaching Case: Another Case Filed Against Accused Ramachandra Bharati
The Cyberabad Police claimed that Bharati possessed several Aadhaar, PAN, and driving licenses.
The police have booked Ramachandra Bharati, alias Satish Sharma, one of the three suspects arrested in the MLA poaching case, for allegedly cheating people by possessing multiple Aadhaar, PAN cards, and driving licenses.
A case has been filed against him at the Banjara Hills police station based on a complaint filed by pilot Rohit Reddy, one of the four Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MLAs who were enticed by the accused with money to transfer allegiances to the BJP.
In their petition, the Cyberabad Police claimed that Bharati possessed several Aadhaar, PAN, and driving licenses. While the unique number was the same in both Aadhaar and PAN, other facts such as the father's name and birth dates were different.
The police were collecting evidence as part of their investigation into this case. According to the authorities, if convicted, the accused may face a 10-year prison sentence.

At a news conference on November 3, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao released photographs of the multiple identity cards of Bharati. He allegedly possesses Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, and driving licences under two names: VK Satish Sharma and Shree Ramachandra Swami Ji.
