Activist and Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) leader Amjed Ullah Khan writes to Minister for External Affairs to send a committee to Thailand to rescue hundreds of Indian Youths who are stuck up in Thailand-Myanmar. In his letter, he appealed to External affair minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar to rescue Fakhruddin and Mohammad Shahjahan, who are stuck in Thailand.
"Since March 2022 hundreds of our youths from different parts of our country majority from Telangana has been cheated by some Chinese agencies in the name of providing jobs in the IT sector with good salary and accommodation and got stuck up in an undisclosed jungle bordering Thailand-Myanmar and being tortured to third degree and being released only after paying ransom up to Rs 3-5 lakh each through cryptocurrency," He mentioned in his letter.
He urged the government to send a delegation of parliamentarians along with IAS and IPS officials from Home Ministry and Ministry of External Affairs and speak with the Thailand and Myanmar governments and rescue hundreds of Indian Youths.

"Two youths from Kishanganj, Bihar settled in Hyderabad were offered a job in the IT sector in Thailand. For work purposes, they went to Bangkok via Hyderabad on September 9, 2022, and they were taken to Mae Sot and from there they have been taken to an undisclosed location bordering Thailand-Myanmar," he wrote in the letter.
Khan said that they are being asked to work for a company and cheat people from other countries and send nude women pictures to the given numbers around the world and are being kept in a locked boundary where they are unable to go out anywhere and not even allowed to keep their phones with them.
"They are being tortured to third degree and being asked to pay ransom for their release," he said.
