Man Orders Laptop Worth Rs 1 Lakh From Flipkart, Gets It In Just 13 Minutes. Free Bag Follows

Flipkart Minutes ended up giving a free bag to Sunny R Gupta for his help in getting no-cost publicity for the company.

The quick commerce industry in India has been booming like anything. From something as small and cheap as a nail cutter to as expensive as a PS5, brands like BlinkIt and Zepto are delivering what they promise. If you order something like an expensive laptop then there is a chance that you will get your new laptop within 15 minutes from placing the order. E-commerce giant Flipkart is now taking on brands like BlinkIt and Zepto by introducing its Minutes program, which will deliver your order within 15 minutes.

An X (formerly Twitter) user tested Flipkart Minutes by ordering an Acer Predator Neo (2023) PHN16-71-757P gaming laptop that costs above Rs 1 lakh. Senior Director of Technology at JioCinema, Sunny R Gupta, recently placed an order for this laptop via Flipkart Minutes and got it delivered to a Starbucks outlet (where he was at the moment) in just 13 minutes. He shared his experience on X and said that he will now get used to quick commerce.

Some users wondered why the quick commerce platforms are rushing this much as no one probably would need a laptop so urgently that they would want it delivered in just 10 minutes. Gupta while responding to this said, "To be honest, I was looking at laptops for a few months now. Today, when I went to my shortlist and selected the specific laptop there was an option to get it in 15 minutes... I'm not complaining."

A user was shocked by such quick delivery from Flipkart and wrote, "Can't believe Flipkart is delivering super fast now! 😂 I actually stopped ordering from them after it took 15 days to deliver a phone that was supposed to arrive in 4. Guess competition really does work wonders!"

Desi-Ness For The Win

Gupta's tweet went viral due to which Flipkart got a decent amount of publicity for free. At the core of his heart, according to Gupta, he is Desi so after spending over a lakh, he jokingly said that Flipkart could've at least given him a bag.

Flipkart Minutes responded to his tweet and soon showed up at his place and gifted him a cool Wildcraft bag.
