TN: Robbery At CISF Personnel’s Home, Kamal Haasan's MNM Urges Police To Act Swiftly & Nab Culprits

Tamil Nadu police have also formed a special force to arrest the culprits.

Chennai: Makkal Needhi Maiam, a political party in Tamil Nadu run by actor-turned-politician Kamal Haasan, urged Tamil Nadu police to act swiftly and arrest the culprits who were involved in the snatching of a nuptial chain from the wife of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) worker stationed in Jammu and Kashmir. The party also expressed their disappointment over the video shared by the officer from J&K.

In a series of tweet, Makkal Needhi Maiam headed by Kamal Haasan said, "Neelamekam works as a CISF worker in Kashmir and his wife is a resident in Kudithurai of Musiri. Recently, Neelamekam released a video explaining that while his wife was sleeping at her home miscreants entered the home and snatched away her nuptial chain."

"He also said that the unsafe situation at his home is making it difficult for him to function at the borders. Hence, we request Tamil Nadu police to act swiftly and arrest the culprits," MNM said.

Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu police also formed a special force to arrest the culprits.

On April 27, Kalaivani, the wife of CISF officer, was sleeping at her home when miscreants entered the home and snatched away her 8 sovereign gold chain. Kalaivani soon informed Neelamekam who released a video urging the intervention of TN DGP and TN CM Stalin.
