Chennai: A woman who faced harassment on a moving bus at night pricked the molester with a safety pin and handed him over to police in Tamil Nadu.

According to a report on Indian Express, a woman advocate of Madras High Court was traveling on a bus from Chennai to Vellore at 10 pm on April 1 when a man seated behind her suddenly slid his hand through the gap between the seats. He then touched her inappropriately. Initially, the woman tried to make him get off his hand but he tried to do it again.

The woman immediately recorded a video of the incident for proof and pricked him with a safety pin. She then started to confront him but the molester hurled abusive words against her.

The remaining passengers told the woman to make him get off the bus and to continue the journey. However, the woman said that a few minutes of delay would not cost any loss and demanded them to stand by her for registering a police complaint.
