Tamil Nadu: Police Perform Baby Shower For 7-Month Pregnant Woman Colleague In Chennai
Aravindha was also the first woman cop of the police station
Chennai: Any pregnant woman would dream about her baby shower and the function would be held just to make her feel special. However, during the pandemic and Covid-19 restrictions, many women do not get such an opportunity to experience their baby shower function since the number of guests is restricted by the hall authority especially due to police patrol. Yet, there was one instance where police performed a baby shower function in Chennai during the pandemic.
In one such incident, police conducted a baby shower function for their colleague and a pregnant woman of Madhavaram police station.

According to a report on ABP Nadu, Aravindha was the first woman cop at Madhavaram police station. She got married nearly 10 years ago to Sathish, who is working for a private company.
The couple already has an 8-year-old daughter Monisha and currently, Aravindha is 7-month pregnant with her second baby. In this backdrop, the police personnel of the Madhavaram police station decided to conduct a baby shower ceremony.

They arranged for seven types of food, nine plates of fruits, silver bangle and silk saree and conducted the baby shower function in the traditional way. The cops smeared sandalwood on the face of Aravindha and took arthi. All of them bless her and the baby well.
