Uttarakhand Election: Harish Rawat To Be Congress' CM Face, Ganesh Godiyal Becomes State Party Chief

The Congress high command has handed over the command of the election campaign committee in Uttarakhand to Harish Rawat. His close aide Ganesh Godiyal has been made the state president.

Uttarakhand Assembly Election: Amidst the deepened political crisis within Congress, the election preparations have begun. There is an atmosphere of victory and celebration before the elections in Harish Rawat's camp.

Being the chairman of the election campaign committee, the command of the election will be in the hands of Harish Rawat. By making his close aide Ganesh Godiyal the state president, Harish has underlined the importance of Harda in preparing the panel of tickets. Beyhadh comes from Udham Singh Nagar district and has also been a cabinet minister once. Apart from this, Jeetram is also considered close to Harish Rawat. Jeetram comes from a scheduled caste, but Ranjit Rawat's name for the working president has shocked everyone. Ranjit Rawat, who was once a close aide of Harish, is now a strong leader of Pritam Singh Camp. When Harish Rawat was the Chief Minister, Ranjit used to run the government. State Congress's new president Ganesh Godiyal has been elected as MLA twice from the Srinagar seat in the Pauri district. He once defeated Dhansingh Rawat and Ramesh Pokhriyal and made a place for himself in the assembly. In the Harish Rawat government, he was given the status of a cabinet minister by making him a parliamentary secretary. In the initial phase, his politics progressed under the guidance of Satpal Maharaj, and then he joined the Harak Singh Rawat camp. But after these two leaders joined the BJP, Godiyal joined Harish Rawat. Now he is seen as the warlord of Harish Rawat.

Before any election, the election campaign committee of any political party is considered very important, Harish Rawat became its chairman and was also successful in getting his special Rajya Sabha MP Pradeep Tamta as the vice-president, and another special former minister Dinesh Agarwal as the convener.
