UP Police Find 12 Girls Missing From Govt Home Within 2 Hours, 6 Employees Suspended
Police have recovered 12 girls who went missing from the Government Girls' Home in Ballia. Police recovered all the girls within two hours.
Ballia: All the 12 girls missing from the Government Girls' Home located in Nidharia village of Phephna police station area of Ballia district have been found. Police have found all the girls in just two hours. At the same time, instructions have been given to suspend 6 employees for negligence in this matter.
The girls went missing on the night of July 20
District probation officer Samar Bahadur Saroj said on Thursday that 12 girls had disappeared on the night of July 20 from the Government Girls' Home in the Nidharia village of the Phefana police station area. Taking quick action, the police found 12 girls safely within two hours of the incident.

They stated that District Magistrate Aditi Singh had constituted a committee on Wednesday to investigate the matter. The committee was attended by deputy district collector Sadar and district probation officers. The committee's investigation (prima facie) revealed negligence on the part of the staff deployed for security arrangements at the girls' home in the case.
6 employees suspended
According to Samar Bahadur Saroj, two female home guards Ramavati Devi and Leela Devi, two male home guards Hansraj Yadav and Chhote Lal Yadav, and two departmental employees Rajesh and Birbal Yadav have been suspended and directed by the District Magistrate for departmental action.
