UP Fire Kills 6 Members Of Family In Firozabad, CM Announces Ex Gratia Of Rs 2 Lakh
According to the Firozabad police, the fire was induced by a short circuit in an inverter battery.
Three adults and three children of a family died in a fire on Tuesday that was ignited due to a short circuit in an inverter battery, in Padham town of Jasrana area under Firozabad district, reported ANI citing SP Firozabad Polic.
18 fire tenders reached the spot along with Police, informed Ashish Tiwari, SP Firozabad Police.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanatha expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the loss of lives in the incident. In a tweet, the office of the CM said, "The CM has directed the officials to take the injured to the hospital and give them proper treatment." The CM also wished for the speedy recovery of those injured, the tweet added.

मुख्यमंत्री जी ने दिवंगतों की आत्मा की शांति की कामना करते हुए शोक संतप्त परिजनों के प्रति संवेदना व्यक्त की है।
CM Yogi Adityanath also instructed the district administration officers to reach the spot and get the relief work done on a war footing.
मुख्यमंत्री जी ने इस दुर्घटना में मृतकों के परिजनों को ₹2-2 लाख की आर्थिक सहायता राशि तत्काल वितरित किए जाने के निर्देश दिए हैं।

The CM also announced ex gratia of Rs 2 lakh each for the kin of the deceased to be immediately provided to the families.
