Former UP Minister Tries To Get Married For Sixth Time? Third Wife Makes Serious Allegations
Chaudhary Bashir was a minister in the Mayawati government but moved to the Samajwadi Party later.
Lucknow: Former Uttar Pradesh minister Chaudhary Bashir's wife Nagma has filed a case against him over the allegation of preparing to get married for the sixth time. A police spokesperson confirmed that a case has been registered at Mantola police station in Agra and Chaudhary Bashir has been booked under Section 3 of the Protection of Rights on Muslim Women's Marriage Act, 2019 under Section 3 of the Protection of Rights Act, 2019 and Section 504 of the IPC.
According to Nagma, she came to know on July 23 that Chaudhary was going to get married for the sixth time. Nagma Choudhary contacted Bashir, after which he is accused of not only assaulting her but also giving her a divorce with triple ' talaq ' and throwing her out of the house. Nagma, the third wife of the former minister, has filed a case against him.

Nagma said that she married Bashir in November 2012. Nagma and Chaudhary Bashir have two sons. She alleged that her husband and sister-in-law have been torturing her physically and mentally since their marriage. Nagma finally resorted to legal action and the matter is pending in court.
Nagma has also posted a video on social media requesting the police for help. Chaudhary Bashir was a minister in the Mayawati government but moved to the Samajwadi Party later. However, he later left the SP and his current position in politics is not known.
