'Conduct Field Visits, Ensure Effective Measures To Stop Spread Of Dengue': UP CM To Health Officials

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath presided over a meeting with representatives of the state health department on Saturday.
He issued a directive to nodal officers to conduct field visits and ensure the timely implementation of measures to stop the spread of the vector-borne disease.
Additionally, the chief minister gave the health officials orders to increase monitoring in the affected districts.

मुख्यमंत्री जी ने कहा है कि डेंगू के प्रसार पर प्रभावी नियंत्रण बनाए रखने के लिए सभी आवश्यक कदम उठाए जाएं। सर्विलांस की गतिविधियां बढ़ाई जाएं।

डेंगू से प्रभावित मरीजों के लिए मिशन मोड में डॉक्टर एवं दवाओं की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित कराई जाए। प्रत्येक मरीज को हर हाल में जरूरी उपचार प्राप्त हो।
The chief minister also directed officials to guarantee the availability of physicians and medications at all times, stating that all patients admitted to hospitals must receive competent medical treatment.
Previously, on October 26, the chief minister ordered health officials to take extra care in light of the escalating number of dengue infections.
Yogi also directed that isolation wards be established at each district hospital and that medicines and other required supplies, such as beds, be made available.

In addition to directing health authorities to be aggressive in their dengue prevention efforts, the chief minister reminded individuals to be vigilant and take the required steps to avoid contracting the vector-borne disease.
Dengue fever cases have been on the rise in the state recently, with unsubstantiated estimates placing the toll in the Prayagraj district at more than 36. However, none of the government entities involved had made any statistics on the number of dengue deaths accessible, the news agency ANI reported.
