6 Killed, 9 Injured After Truck Overturns In Odisha's Mayurbhanj

Six people died and nine were injured after a party truck overturned at Dharsuni ghat on NH-49 in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.

The injured have been admitted to PRM Medical College and Hospital.

Six people were killed and nine were injured after a truck overturned at Dharsuni ghat on National Highway-49 (NH-49) in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district on Wednesday around 10:30 AM. Upon receiving information about the incident the local police and fire services rushed to the scene and began the rescue operation. 

The injured have been admitted to PRM Medical College and Hospital, Baripada, according to PTI.

According to the PTI report, the driver managed to escape from the spot, a police officer reportedly said.
