'BJP's Dirty Game': AAP Reacts To CBI Raid At Durgesh Pathak's Home In FCRA Case

Durgesh Pathak CBI Raids: The CBI conducted raids at AAP leader Durgesh Pathak's home for alleged FCRA violations.

A team from the Central Bureau of Investigation is conducting a raid at the home of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Durgesh Pathak in Delhi. The raids came after the CBI registered a case against Pathak for alleged violation of the Foreign Exchange Control Act (FCRA). The case was registered on April 16.

AAP Alleges BJP Plot

The raid comes after Durgesh Pathak was appointed the co-incharge of Gujarat, along with Gopal Rai last month. Notably, the local polls will be due in Gujarat next year and the assembly elections will be held in 2027. The AAP alleged that it was due to this responsibility of Gujarat that Pathak was targeted by the BJP through the CBI.

"BJP's dirty game has begun again. The CBI has reached the house of Gujarat's co-incharge Durgesh Pathak. The Modi government has tried every trick to destroy the Aam Aadmi Party but they are still not at peace," said AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh.

"The BJP's condition in Gujarat is bad. As soon as Durgesh Pathak was made co-incharge of Gujarat, the CBI was sent to threaten him," he said.

AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sandeep Pathak said the raid showed that the BJP was threatened by the AAP in Gujarat. "The CBI's raid at Durgesh Pathak’s residence this morning — just days after he was named co-incharge for Gujarat elections 2027 — sends a loud message that the BJP views AAP as a growing threat in Gujarat and is rattled by its rising influence," he said.
