Congress leader, Partap Singh Bajwa and Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal responded to speculations surrounding the SAD's return to the NDA fold.

New Delhi: Punjab's Leader of Opposition (LoP) and Congress leader, Partap Singh Bajwa on Sunday responded to speculations surrounding the Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD)'s return to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) fold. He condemned such an alliance as "opportunist," questioning its motives and implications for Punjab's interests. He called upon SAD leader Sukhbir Singh Badal to clarify whether the alliance serves the state's welfare, the Akali Dal's agenda, or merely the interests of the Badal family.
